ABOUT THIS SCENERY
------------------------------------

My scenery was designed for FSX using the FSX SDK, Gmax 1.2 ,FSX_KML , Flight One Instant Scenery, FSX Planner
and SBuilderX. It contains my own custom models and placement files for default FSX scenery objects.

This scenery was developed for display with Photographic Scenery. I use Horizon VFR Photographic Scenery with 5m mesh terrain, however
It should be OK with other VFR Sceneries although I can't verify this. Also included is a default scenery version for those who don't have Photographic Scenery.

INSTALLATION
----------------------

I am aware that alot of users have their own prefered way of installing scenery into FSX and below
is just a guide for those who aren't sure.

1. Create a new folder inside your main 'Microsoft Flight Simulator X' folder and name it EGFF. Copy the
attached 'Texture' folder into this folder.
2. Depending on whether you use Photographic Scenery or Default Scenery, unzip the appropriate Scenery
file into your newly created 'EGFF' Folder. The 'EGFF' Folder should now contain 2 folders, 'Texture'
and 'Scenery'.
3. Copy the contents of the 'Effects' folder into 'Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ Effects' folder. These effects are for lights etc which appear in the scenery. (fx_EGBJ_Floodlit, fx_EGBJ_GS, fx_EGBJ_RF1, fx_EGBJ_RF2, fx_EGBJ_RS).
If you have installed my Gloucester, EGBJ Scenery, these files are the same and can be overwritten or just left as they are.
4. The scenery must then be activated within FSX - Settings - Scenery Library - Add Area, then navigating to your installation folder, EGFF by default.

REMOVAL
----------------

De-activate the scenery first and delete it from the scenery library in the same way you activated it, then simply remove the EGFF folder and effects files which are prefixed by EGBJ. Do not remove
the Effects folder as this is part of the default FSX installation.

ISSUES
----------------

I have found no major issues with this scenery. It has been tested using Default Scenery and VFR Photographic
Scenery with 5m Terrain Mesh enabled. For developers of Autogen scenery, the file 'EGFF_Trees.bgl'
can be removed if it conflicts with your scenery. The file 'EGFF_VRP' can also be removed as I am aware that
other designers specifically design this type of scenery. The scenery for St.Athan AB is included simply to take the bad look off St.Athan as it appears with Photographic Scenery, with cliffs and misaligned runways. In case anyone develops a proper scenery for this AB, the files 'EGDX_Flatten.bgl' 'EGDX_Main.bgl' and AF2_EGDX.bgl'
can be removed. The jetway alignment lights are at an experimental stage. They work well on my system with the
default aircraft in 2D or VC Mode at default zoom levels. If they don't work for you or you don't like them, remove the
'EGFF_guides.bgl'. The gate numbering system is derived from online Virtual Airline websites to make things simple for online
controllers (I hope). Thanks for downloading my scenery and I hope you like it. I've learned alot during the
development of this scenery and for any future projects I would like to incorporate custom Taxiways and
Runways using FSX code, but I'll have to experiment with this a bit first!
